- Dave Oliver Review added: 2018.10.21★ ★ ★ ★ ★Help out as a Volunteer when I can as working full time. The place is run by Fantastic staff and Volunteers who are like one big happy Family and who's main focus is the well being of the Cats in their Care. Would give this 10 stars if I could.
- David White Review added: 2018.05.10★ ★ ★ ★ ★Visited to ask some questions about adoption. The staff were super-helpful and were keen to show me around. The cats are kept in lovely big pens with all they could wish for to keep them happy. I was impressed with the enthusiasm the staff had and felt instantly at ease with their process. It was clean and the cats I met all seemed contented. I was encouraged to spend as much time as I wanted with the cats and was left alone to say hello to them. Hand gel is provided to prevent infection as you move between the pens. Needless to say we returned the same day and picked out a 10 year old cat. The process to adopt her was easy and I was impressed with the sensible questions they asked about the home environment. We paid the standard donation of £60 with a bit on top to say thank-you. A few weeks later, we were pleased to receive some information about the 'friends' of Chelmsford & District Cats Protection and a lovely photo of our adopted cat. Even if you're not thinking of adoption, why not go along for a visit.
